Handshake Opportunities for Mercer Students & Alumni

The American Journalism Institute at the Daily Caller News Foundation is the premier journalism fellowship in Washington, DC. It is a two-year, paid fellowship that includes an educational component and the opportunity to start reporting almost immediately. We are located minutes from the White House and our graduates are employed throughout newsrooms and policy organizations all over town. We currently have 5 openings for ambitious, talented writers. Midstory’s ThinkLab Graduate Fellowship is an advanced program for recent college graduates and current graduate students interested in shaping the post-industrial story. Our fellows engage in multimedia, interdisciplinary storytelling about demography, the environment, culture, arts, education and more. They also participate and take leadership roles in research projects on topics ranging from water safety to local journalism.
