Our internship program, Cultivate, is located in our international headquarters in South Florida. This program was born out of OneHope’s 30+ years of experience in research, program design, and outcome-based ministry. We are a large, innovative nonprofit that seeks to match your God-given gifts with a God-driven mission. The goal is to equip college students and recent graduates to work in a faith-based, international organization through mentorship by experienced practitioners and by providing significant opportunities for personal, spiritual, and professional growth.
We are looking for a highly motivated Partner Communications Intern to join the Strategy Team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about storytelling, design, and donor engagement, with a strong emphasis on creating visually compelling communications for high-level partners. As part of this position, you will follow up with partners and stakeholders to gather impact data and stories, then translate that content into polished, brand-cohesive updates using tools like Canva. You will use your creative, communication, and relational skills to strengthen partner engagement and help donors see the impact of their support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with Kenya-based partners and stakeholders to collect data, testimonials, and stories for donor updates
- Design and produce visually appealing, brand-consistent materials (decks, one-pagers, reports) for high-level donors
- Coordinate timelines and track incoming content to ensure updates are delivered on schedule
- Collaborate with the communications team to maintain visual and messaging consistency across all partner-facing materials
- Proofread and edit content for clarity, tone, and accuracy before distribution
- Provide administrative support, including record-keeping and reporting on partner communications
- Ensure alignment between content and strategic goals

- Experience in graphic design, communications, and/or Canva
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort reaching out to partners and stakeholders directly
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented

- An eye for clean, professional design and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Passion for storytelling, donor engagement, and developmental impact
