OneHope is a global ministry that seeks to catalyze a movement to help every child in every generation encounter Jesus through engagement with God’s Word. Our internship program, Cultivate, is located in our international headquarters in South Florida. This program was born out of OneHope’s 30+ years of experience in research, program design, and outcome-based ministry. We are a large, innovative nonprofit that seeks to match your God-given gifts with a God-driven mission. The goal is to equip college students and recent graduates to work in a faith-based, international organization through mentorship by experienced practitioners and by providing significant opportunities for personal, spiritual, and professional growth.
We are seeking an Project Coordinator (R&D) Intern who is passionate about reaching the next generation to be part of our Research & Development team. The intern will need to have a strong interest in linguistics, proofing and editing skills, be detail-oriented, process driven, and have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating multiple translation projects in various languages
- Collaborating with field teams to maintain timelines, answer questions and provide
- comments on deliverables for quality to facilitate completion of translation projects
- Negotiate and obtain quotes from translators, typesetters, editors; create agreements
- for services and submit for approval.
- Proofing typeset files and prepare for Quality Assurance, and actively work with Quality
- Assurance to ensure accuracy and quality in press files
- Working in a Translation Management System Platform
- Maintaining project status updates in OneHope’s database
- Communicating status and escalating concerns with Translation Manager
- Coordinate, share, and maintain digital assets and archives
- Create, track, and monitor budgets, timelines, and status reports for projects. Produce
- reports and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
