Optimize Your Resume with Quinncia
The Center for Career and Professional Development offers a tool called Quinncia to all Mercerians, free of charge. Through automated resume reviews, Quinncia uses AI to enhance your resume by helping job/internship seekers learn where they need to improve and where they are already succeeding in the document. The platform provides instant personalized feedback, including an option to link the resume review to a particular target job/internship description, providing suggested customizations.
STEP 1: Create a Quinncia account using your Mercer student email address.
The career center staff spent months training the AI in our Mercer University-specific Quinncia platform. The sign-up for Quinncia has been designed to fast track progress by allowing new Mercer users to select an industry during the sign-up process, thus providing specific feedback in the first few moments of use.
There is not a right or wrong industry to select during this process. The user experience is not expanded or lessened based on the industry chosen during account sign-up. With this in mind, select the industry sign-up link below that best matches your interest or curiosity today.
STEP 2: Login and click “Activate Your License” on the dashboard.
STEP 3: Upload your resume to receive analysis and feedback within 90 seconds.
STEP 4: Review the analysis report and your score.
This feedback will highlight areas for improvement using the standard resume guidelines and the ones recommended by the Mercer career center staff.
Quinncia analyzes and reveals how your resume stacks up against others in your field and how to make it Applicant Tracking System (ATS) compliant.
STEP 5: Start using Quinncia’s other features such as resume optimization, mock interviews, and LinkedIn profile optimization. (Note: you must upload a resume first before these features become accessible.)
