Job Description
Pro Sport Performance Therapy (PSPT) is seeking a creative, organized, and professional Director of Content and Marketing to lead our digital presence and help grow awareness of our physical therapy, athletic performance, recovery, and wellness services. This role will create engaging social-media and website content that reflects PSPT’s high-performance culture, clinical expertise, and commitment to exceptional patient care.
The Director of Content and Marketing will develop and manage a content calendar; create posts, photos, videos, stories, interviews, and approved testimonials; maintain brand consistency across social platforms; update website content; and track engagement, inquiries, and referral activity. The position will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure healthcare and performance-related content is accurate, professional, and compliant with patient privacy and consent requirements.
This role also provides limited front-desk and communication support by managing the business phone line, answering general questions, assisting with appointment scheduling and confirmations, and promptly routing messages related to patient needs, scheduling requests, referrals, partnerships, and business opportunities to the appropriate PSPT team member.
Responsibilities
Create, schedule, and manage social-media content across relevant platforms.
Capture and edit high-quality photos and video for educational, promotional, and performance-focused content.
Maintain and update PSPT’s website, including services, staff information, events, announcements, and marketing materials.
Develop content strategies that increase brand awareness, audience engagement, patient inquiries, and referrals.
Maintain PSPT’s brand voice, visual standards, and professional image.
Respond professionally to approved social-media comments, direct messages, and general digital inquiries.
Track and report content performance, including reach, engagement, website activity, and lead/referral trends.
Coordinate with therapists and staff to ensure content is accurate and appropriately presented.
Protect patient privacy and obtain required approval before sharing any patient- or athlete-related content.
Manage the business phone line; assist with calls, scheduling needs, and message routing.
Support a welcoming, polished, and professional patient experience.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in social-media management, marketing, communications, content creation, or a related field.
Strong writing, editing, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to create compelling photo and video content for social platforms.
Familiarity with social-media scheduling tools, analytics, and basic website content-management systems.
Ability to manage deadlines, multiple priorities, and confidential information.
Professional, reliable, outgoing, and detail-oriented demeanor.
Interest in physical therapy, sports performance, fitness, healthcare, wellness, or athletics.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing social-media accounts for a business, healthcare provider, fitness brand, sports organization, or professional service.
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
Website editing experience, including WordPress or another content-management system.
Familiarity with social-media advertising and digital marketing analytics.
Photography, videography, interviewing, or storytelling experience.
